I made 4 trips to pep boys in Dover De. during the week of Aug.14-18 2017.
My first trip 4 hrs. before they tell me what is the matter with my vehicle. They then tell me that they will need to order the parts for my car. I return the following day and wait 6 hours as the three tech.
work feverously to complete the cars in the bay. 745 they come to tell me that they are done. I am checked as 5 more customers continue to wait. Keep in mind that the store closes at 8:00.
The very next day my car stops while I am driving. I have to have my car back to PB's Oh I forgot to tell you my bill for the day prior was 1300.00 now I am paying another 100 to have the car towed back. after 2 hours close to 3 they tell me again that they have to order parts to repair it I leave the car. But before I depart I am given another estimate of 1258.00 they tell me that I do not have to leave a deposit because they have my car.
I don't hear from them so I drop by unannounced my car still sitting in the lot, I go inside and ask if my car is done they tell me that the parts just arrived, but w'ell have it done today. I respond how? It's already after 230. I continue to fill paperwork.
When a guy comes to whisper to the fellow checking me out, I get the feeling this is about my car I interrupt and ask what's the matter with my car? The guy whispering tells me we have the parts but we do not have the tools to work on your car. I am blown away someone should have caught this way earlier than now. The guy tells me we will let you leave the car here for however long it takes to find someone to work on it.
meanwhile I have a car that I have spent 1300.00 on and have no way to drive it.
Help I need answers. I think I will call the corporate office.
