After publishing my complaint with Pep Boys, they contacted me and agreed to support the prices on their web site. I was refunded the difference between what I originally paid and the web sale price at the time.
I appreciated their response.
Too bad the manager of the store did not originally support the web sale price. I am satisfied now with Pep Boys.

Pep Boys don't honor prices posted on their web site in their shops. They post reasonable prices on their web site to get you into their shops.
When you get the invoice, prices for parts will be much higher than what is listed on their web site. They say the prices are different on their web site than their shops - WHAT! Why different - there is no reason. If you can get an item from their web site and have it shipped to a shop for one price, why is the item purchased in a shop much higher - NO REASON.
I paid $70 more for each brake rotor in their shop than what was listed on their web site. Stop this behavior by not going to their shops or YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF.
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Monetary Loss: $280.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.
I didn't like: Need to honor their web site prices.
