I purchased a solar es5000 battery jumpbox in a pep boys store in mobile al on 09-03-2019,also purchased a warranty which covers 2 years or 200 dollars incase product had a price increase,well on 08-05-2020,my product quit working,went to pepboys store I purchased item from,and they informed me they on sell tires and service,have me a post card to call the warranty department,after a 55 minute wait they took my call,opened a case #for me,and had me email them my receipts,rep stayed on the phone and made sure she got my receipt,called back a week later and they claim they are waiting on corporate office to review my claim,told them they didn't have to call corporate office for me to make a purchase,well 16 days later they send me a email from corporate office saying they would take care of it,even sent me a copy of my original receipt I sent them,but the funny thing is they asked me to reply to there email,asking my name,my email,date of purchase,and item I purchased,why the *** are they asking all this nonsense when,all the information is in my complaint.bottom line they don't care,I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB

User's recommendation: Don't buy from pepboys.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
