Took my 1999 Lexus on 5-30-2018 to local PEP BOYS at 6325 Fallbrook Ave., Woodland Hills, Ca. for having the Engine light on as well as RPM fluctuating. They stated that ignition coils as well as spark plugs needed to be replaced. They worked on engine problem and replaced one tire. My total cost on that visit came up to $765.87 that $621.64 was for engine job and $145.23 for replacing one tire.

The following day I noticed that the car jolts violently that was not there before. Took the car back to PEP BOYS. Their mechanic road along with me while I drove the car for further testing and told me that "the new jolting problem has nothing to do with his repair job and belongs to transmission", but he needs to take a look at it at shop.

Few hours later they called me to go and pick up the car and take it to "Trans Shop" for fixing.

The following morning on June 2nd I took the car to Woodland Hills Lexus for looking into transmission problem for jolting as it was diagnosed by PEP BOYS.

They ran tests and found out that transmission has no problem and it is from mishandling the repair job by PEP BOYS with the following statement: "Found ECM ground wire is not installed behind intake manifold. Found ground wire and instead connected to the bolt of ignition coil#3. Removed and installed wire to where it supposed to be bolted to".

Lexus fixed the problem and cost me additional $650 plus not having my car available for few more days.

I took the car back and gave them a chance to fix their sloppy job, instead they blame it on transmission.

Pep Boys has refused to credit my account for the entire amount as they promised me on June 5, 2018 when my wife and I went there to complain about their job and continue refusing it as of today September 7, 2018 by not accepting the charge dispute through credit card company. I am asking the entire money that I spent with Lexus ($650) to be paid back to me due to mishandling of the repair job by their mechanic.

If I can not get this matter resolved by this complain, then I will take them to small claim court to get my money back.

I am sure there are CLASS ACTION LAWSIT ATTORNEYS that are looking for dissatisfied Pep Boys customers such as me that would this type of cases to bring justice to defrauded customers.
