Lakeside, CA Pep Boys.First that little "membership card" they give you is completely worthless (didn't save one cent despite they looked me up by name and number), then the guy at the counter just tried upselling me when all I wanted was a couple of tires.

I finally get the tires on and the car comes back a mess they couldn't even wash off the *** from putting them on and although small, they have no attention to detail and left off the caps to the air stems and forgot to return my wheel lock.

Just incompetent.Better off going to Discount Tires or Tire Rack on line.

the membership card wont give you any actual discount at the register. the total before tax will transfer over to points (grand total: 96.25 total before taxes: 92.31 points you will receive: 92 pts) and the points keep building up every time you go to the store and use the card and for every 200 points (200 dollars) you will receive a 10 dollar gift card. so learn to read the terms of the card before you agree to one

You may call it upselling but its usually things your car needs. You must be one of those put gas in car and go untill somthing wears completely or breaks people.
