Pep Boys - Ripoff fees for tire mounting/balancing
I wanted to buy 2 tires from Pep Boys in Gainesville, Florida. They quoted an ADDITIONAL 42.50 to mount and balance the tires.
Shameless ripoff. This is the second time that a Pep Boys tried to overcharge me for a service.
I will never buy anything from those parasites. You can ALWAYS get a better price elsewhere.....and easily.

Haha this guy is a joke...seriously? You feel like you were ripped off because they wanted to charge you for a service?
Next time buy the tires and then take them home and mount & balance them yourself! Noone forced you to hire them to install your tires. I'm sure this guy will be back to pep boys to purchase his next set of tires once he wakes up and realizes that all shops charge for mounting and balancing and that many charge an even higher rate.
I bet he felt really screwed when he got charged a disposal fee too. lol
Imagine that, they wanted to charge you to mount and balance tires.HELLO...they are a business not a charity.
