Any oil filter for a modern vehicle is more than $4.99. So you have to pay the difference.

You are not getting a deal, you are getting ripped off by Pep Boys. OK, here are more words. Rebate credit card expired. They will not reissue or add the rebate back.

Lost $28.00, my fault for not checking expiration date. Go back to issuing a check. Checks are easier to deposit into your bank account. I do not want to spend by rebate, yo yo's.

They want you to write a book here with a minimum of 100 words and vent your frustrations.

Nothing will change anyway. I am never purchasing oil from pep boys again.

Reason of review: Rebate issue.

Monetary Loss: $28.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Been waiting on 3 oil and filter rebates for $10 each. Checking status shows "approved" for months now.

It even says allow 8 weeks for your rebate to process but that was weeks ago. Mail in rebates are not worth it.

Pep boys needs to end this lousy practice. From now on I'll buy from retailers who give you the deal up front.
