We went to Pep Boys at Germantown, MD to return and non-working GPS. At first, we went to the cashier, and then another guy from parts took it to a side for examining, even though we told him we want to return it.
He examined the fuse and then passed it to the service desk to a mechanic with assistance service manager. It was already more than 10 mins when all these happened. He made us waited for him to finish with his customer. Later, he told the retail shop manager about the GPS,says they need the jump start pack to test the GPS.
They let us waited for at least another 5 mins and then try it and says "the fuse is blown". We told him we want to return it and he replied: "You can't return electronics goods!" I told him you're the one who told me I can return it when we purchased it on Black Friday. The entire process took like 30mins. We felt it's ridiculous!
First, they tried to *** us around and then try to lie to us by saying it's not returnable. We're disappointed with the service and felt insulted by this experience.
Before the increase and the change of staffs to international people, buying experiences at that store was so different. We'll never patronize that store again!
