Their starter kept running and burnt up the motor and they refused to pay for the vans total destruction.not one cent just a phony adjuster's report who came to my house to create lies to deny liability If anyone files a class action suit against Pep Boys I want to be a part of it.A $12,000 custom van totally destryed by their faulty starter and they totally deny payments with an adjuster's lies and 5 other conspirators from Pep Boys signs it.That is,also, criminal.Problem is in a court of law will the judge look at all this?

The starter kept running and burnt up the motor? You mean the starter motor, right?

Otherwise this is the most absurd thing I've ever heard.

Send me an invitation to the trial, I can hardly wait. They sell peanuts there, or I gotta bring my own?

the selonoid and starter were both bad;so all you guys trying to blame me know zero about how starter can cause fire;also, click and clack on their Dec.3,2011 show said a starter can cause engine fire.

a starter can't blow a motor. please hire the most expensive lawyer you can find and sue pepboys.

well it depends if you payed for a new starter or a rebuilt starter.....but even a hung up starter wont blow your motor... you would easily hear it hanging up and sounds like you had electrical issues that might have hung up the starter if not just a bad rebuilt starter....

Typical. These adjusters are hired guns that they deploy to deny every claim.

They will drag this out and counting on you giving up on the claim. They know the burden of proof is on you to prove that the part purchased from them is at fault.

Good luck. If you can afford it, hire a very good lawyer.
