We were on a big road trip from Quebec to Oregon and back, we stop in Utah to ski for 2 weeks and had a badluck with our car. My car is a toyota echo 2000 with 150 000 km a really good car. We came to your shop because the car was doing a weird sound. We came right when the sound start. They told us that it will be 20$ to chek it but they were pretty sure on what it was already, and that reperation will take around a hour. They told us as well...

On August 30, 2016, I visited the Pep boys located at 1215 Azalea Road, Mobile, Al. This location is AAA approved for auto repair so I am forwarding my complaint to both you and AAA. My Volvo s60 was taken in for repair. I was told I would be called after diagnosis had been completed. when I did not receive a call, I called the store and spoke with a tech who told me I had been charged the diagnosis fee of $90 and they had reconnected some...

I made an appointment online to take my car into PepBoys for Sat. Using the PepBoys towing as well. The tow truck took over an hour to reach me. Made me late for my appointment. I'm a rewards member it should of being really cheap. I went 3 miles from my house. They kept my car on the side cause they couldn't figure out what was wrong for hours. I complained and questioned what was the hold up. Again they weren't on the same page what was wrong....

I took my car to Pep Boys on Gunbarrel Road in Chattanooga Tennessee in November 2015 for new brakes and was scammed into paying for new roters. Several months Later I was looking over an invoice from the the Lexis dealership and it read needed new brakes but that "the roters could be turned". I took my car to Pep Boys thinking that I would save money but unfortunately I didn't read the Lexis invoice before they lied for my need on new" rotors....

I had my car towed into Pep Boys for a blown radiator hose at the heater core. The car was on the lift for 32 hours before I was able to pick it up for $698. I was horrified, and much to my surprise the District manager's number isn't given out at the local or corporate level. I asked him to call me back 5 times and 2 weeks later and still not a call back. Every time I called Corporate they told me the local Manager close the case in the...

We recently tried out the Pep Boys on Eisenhower Pkwy in Macon GA for one of our fleet vehicles because it takes the Wex fleet cards. The vehicle was having brake issues. We brought it in, were quoted 400 dollars for the repair, and paid it. When we got the vehicle back it was still having brake issues, to the point that it was not safe to drive and in frankly a dangerous condition. We returned it to the store and were told it will be...

I took my Dodge Durango to Pep Boys on May 6th. The store location is 902 N. Imperial Ave. in El Centro, Ca, phone number (760)353-8565. I started with the Service Department employee "Marcos" and explained that the temperature gauge rose a little. The next day Pep Boys [Marcos] called us and informed us that we needed a new radiator which would cost $1200.00; this price would be after discounts. I was upset but, my husband gave it the okay....

Anonymous wow and it was most likely a 20 dollar thermostat that a normal mechanic would charge 20 bucks to change

I took my Jeep to Rock Hill SC Pep Boys and told them I had water leaking into passenger side floor. I told them I had looked on the Internet and found it is a common Jeep problem with a/c drain tube the most likely cause. The diagnosis I was charged $35 for was leaking evaporator, thermostat and probably water pump. The estimated repair cost was over $1200. I told them it must be time to trade cars and left. I went to a local garage and showed...
