Walked in yesterday to my local pep boys shop and i had to look for an employee since there was none by the register, i needed to get my check engine light checked, i finally found an employee and asked for his assistance. well i had to wait for him to finish his personal conversation with the cashier so he could attend my issue after 20 minutes of waiting.

All he said is that my car repair would be almost $700 ,i left the shop with no solution plus a wrong diagnostic.

I came to pep boys looking for help and what i got was some guy who clearly had no intention of helping a customer.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $150.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

A register is where you pay for your purchase,a service counter is where you go for service.Did they do a diagnostic or a free code pull? A free code pull is for the do it yourselfer that does there own diagnostic and just wants to know the code.What did they tell you was $700.00?

Did anyone diagnose your car?How do you know the diagnostic is wrong? What really happened? What are you really mad at? Pep Boys?

Or are you just pissed the there is something wrong with your car and no one will fix it for free.
