Pep Boys in Buford, Georgia - Horrible customer service

I went to Pep Boys to get a flat tire repair, I dropped my car off before 2:00pm and they told me that it would will be ready around 3:00pm and I came back after 3:00pm and found out that they didn't touch my car and it wasn't even assigned to any technician. I asked one lady there , if I needed to take my car somewhere else she responded you can take your car somewhere else. I took my car keys and left very disappointed they don't even care about customer service, not even an apology. I would not recommend it to anyone. never coming back there.

Pep Boys in Clarkesville, Georgia - DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF

I had my daughter go to Pep Boys (went there a few times myself years ago when I lived in Atlanta) to get some evaluation on brakes that were squeaking. In a classic bill padding episode, they wanted to charge over $700 for work that should have been simply resurfacing and cleaning front rotors and rear drums. They claimed "total metal to metal" contact on the rear drums and that this required a total brake fluid replacement (I still can't figure that one out). Anyway, these people WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU.....PERIOD. BTW. I had the brakes replaced and new tires at a local NON-CHAIN store back home with a tire store I trust....total cost for brake work and tires ...

Pep Boys in Macon, Georgia - Dishonest or incompetent

1.0
Details
We recently tried out the Pep Boys on Eisenhower Pkwy in Macon GA for one of our fleet vehicles because it takes the Wex fleet cards. The vehicle was having brake issues. We brought it in, were quoted 400 dollars for the repair, and paid it. When we got the vehicle back it was still having brake issues, to the point that it was not safe to drive and in frankly a dangerous condition. We returned it to the store and were told it will be another ~$500 to actually repair the brakes......................... I am not sure if this is dishonesty or incompetence but it is definitely one of the two. And since the service manager was uninterested in making this right at all or even offering any sort of an apology, we decided to take the vehicle to another more reputable vendor. We will be disputing these charges with our merchant services company, making complaints to any business organizations we can find and it goes without saying we will not bring any of our fleet back to pep boys in the future.

Do not go to Pep Boys

I am extremely upset about my previous experience with Pep Boys. My vehicle was in an accident. The suspension did not work on the truck afterwards. There was also damage to the braking system. My insurance approved them to do the work on my vehicle. I got the vehicle back and the very next morning the truck suspension light was on and it was almost sitting on the ground. I took it back to have it looked at. I was told that a piece that holds the air in is not working properly. The manager is telling me that when it left the shop it was working properly. There is no way that the very next morning a part that was working before the accident is not working less than 24 hours after it was taken out of the shop. He does not want to do anything about it except charge me for the labor and parts for an issue that was not found in the first place. This is not acceptable. I am also experiencing problems with the same brakes that were replaced. When I back up, the truck is also making a clicking sound. None of this was happening before the accident. There is no way that he could tell me that just because he could not see it before one part was put on it did not exist. I at really upset with this type of service. I was already hesitant to bring my truck to Pep Boys in the first place, because after talking with several people, the job would not be done correctly. I went against that and took a chance, and now I am regretting this. I DO NOT want to take my truck back to that place, and now I am even considering going to another shop to get the work completed and paying out of pocket.
