Rip Off! My wife took her car to get the air conditioning checked.

They told her she needed a new compressor and that would be $1500. They kept trying to convince her and she kept calling me. Finally Pep boys got on the phone with me and tried to talk me into it. My wife just wanted it diagnosed and the cost was about $70.

Finally I told her to leave and the guy said "forget about the diagnosing charge". I know why now! He felt a tad bit guilty for trying to RIP HER OFF. We took it to another shop and they said the compressor was fine.

They did a little work and now it is blowing ice cold for $200.

I called the Honda dealer and they told me the compressor hardly ever goes bad, especially on a newer Honda. Stay far away from this place.

Reason of review: Not as described.

Monetary Loss: $1300.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
