Pep Boys in Miami, Florida - Very Poor Customer Warranty service

Yes, I was at Store 167 for a Warranty wheel alignment. I made a scheduled appointment via online on Saturday for a 9:am Appointment on Sunday, 07-23-2017. I arrived at the store at 8.50am. At 9:am the maint. Supervisor said it will be 45 to hour before my car is serviced. The alignment bay was empty the entire time at the store. At 10:15, I was stunned to see another vehicle in the alignment bay for service instead of mine. The Maint. supervisor said it was going to be a little longer. I asked for my keys and left the very poor servicing store. I then came back and asked for the Business card. This I will be using to make a formal complaint in as many website and government agencies I can email this store giving low priority to Warranty customers ahead of Paying customers. It is a farce the customer service signs in the store. While chatting, The person said I wasn't responding and quit the chat at Pepboys Website about my complaint. The chatter never responded back. Then I get an email from store 167 saying that they were" sorry I couldn't make the schedule appointment and to reschedule again". This is how Pepboys covers for their negligent customer service. The above description is exactly what I wrote during my initial chat at PEPBOYS website chatting service. I copied it before the chatter disconnected me for not responding.

Maurice is amazing. Calm, collected and took a great deal if time to let me know exactly what I needed and how much it was. He took the time to go out and check on my car while it was in the shop and gave me plenty of updates. I will always go to Maurice at the West Palm Pep Boys when I need service done. No one I have found is as honest and capable as he is with cars and doesn't try to overcharge or swindle me for being a woman. Thank you Maurice. Keep up the amazing work. Your coworkers could learn a thing or two from you.

Pep Boys in Miami, Florida - PepBoys is mush better than others !!!

I have been visiting the Pepboys location on Bird Road & 107th Ave in Miami for about nine months and on a recent visit they made a believer out of me. My Toyota four runner had developed a noise in the rear since I was near the Toyota dealer I stopped by and them take a look at it. One hour later the service advisor told that the front left brake caliper, the brake hose, the master cylinder and the rear brakes needed to be replace now or my vehicle would not stop total price $998.00 without the master cylinder. I remember Pepboys and called them, I spoke to Manny the Service Manager and asked him for an estimate on this job. Manny had a service advisor called me back and provided an estimate of $758.00 including the master cylinder. I had the vehicle towed towed to their location, and after a free brake inspection (at toyota was $88.98) I was told that all the vehicle needed was a retaining clip and a spring in the rear left brakes. They also recommended new front brake pad, recommended only. I had the vehicle repaired and have driven it to Tallahasee, Florida and back without any more problems, the noise is gone and the brakes are fine. Total cost $288.00. Sure they may not be perfect, but for me honesty in of paramount importance. At least this location is rated excellent and deserves to be recognized for its qualities.

Pep Boys in Miami, Florida - Simple tune-up turned into major breakdown

Brought my vehicle to PEP BOYS for simple tune-up. A few hours pass and i am told my vehicle is ready. I pay for the charges and recieve the key.When i try to leave, FIRST THE VEHICLE IS VERY HARD TO START, once it starts i put it in gear and it stalls out. This repeats twice more and i haven't even left the parking area. I bring the manager out to see the problem and he tells me it's the catalitlc converter. I get the cat. converter out of line and reseal the exhaust. NOPE, the problem's still the same. Now i have spent over $500.00 on a SIMPLE TUNE-UP and my vehicle is still not running. What do i have to do? Get "help me howard" involved? I really don't want to cause a problem, but it seems to me that's the only way to get anyone to move any more. WHAT A SHAME. k71462@yahoo.com

I called Pep Boys Birdroad,today July 22/2010 in the morning.I was waiting long time in the line after that the peson who answer the phone don;t let me explain my request he cuts my conversation an said: "I'm busy now , I have two clients here . I call you back give your phone number " and hnag off the phone .In Spanish : Te llamo p'atras, dame tu telefono .It's incredible .This person Never call me again . I need 4 tires for my car inmediatly and this person never call me back.This kind of service is very bad.

Pep Boys, Rape you

I took my car to PepBoys in Feb. 2010, had 4 tires, brakes, alignment and an oil change, having my car back less than 12 hours, both of my caliper bolts on the driver front caliper. I take the car back and then when I talked to the service manager, he tells me "We fixed it, what more do you want?" I threw a fit, tried to get ahold of the Area Manager, nothing. I went to the BBB, still nothing. In June 2010, I go to get my tires balanced and rotated, it is a free service when you purchase road hazzard warranty. When I arrived at the store the ***. Manager tells me that they will not touch my car and will not honor any warranty due to the fit I threw in Feb. I spent over $700 with them and can not get any money or service from them....they will rape you and then throw you to the curb.
