Pep boys awfull tires

2007 bought 4 new tires. 2 had to be replaced with in one month due to becoming out of round. 2 years later the other 2 side walls gave out. Never again will I buy tires from pep boys again. This was at the Hemet,Ca store.Tires were of best grade. So I thought at the time. Iwas so sorry at the Hemet mgr's response to my tire troubles. It took me 4 times to get any service both times. There is nothing to add to my complant that I can think of. I bought Firestone tires. Now Im ok.

Pep Boys in Los Angeles, California - Oil change

On 3/2/2010 at 2:50 P.M., I when to Pep boys in the city of Artesia for an oil change on my Dodge diesel. A Service technician came out and asked what service I needed. I told him I was here for an oil change. The Service personnel said he would check to see if a technician that can perform the task. The Service personnel came back and said none of the technician will do the task, that the technicians don't get paid enough to perform the task. So I departed their location and call the store manage to advised him of the situation.

Pep Boys in Westfield, New Jersey - Ok and not ok

Well i have worked for pepboysfor alottt of years and when i started they were a stong company . however ther parts aren't great but that is what you customers ask for .most customers ask for cheapest price so thats what you get. The work performed there is only 1 half the qualities of the parts. they warrenty everything that is good. The biggest problem i see is they alow computers to run there company due to the lack of brain power in management. the dms and managers are under paid. again you get what you pay for. I believe that if they could manage to spend a little more money on therer help everyone would benifit, instead they have poor quality management. this is the problem they can;t think .I guess you get what you pay for.I still care and fix cars to the best of my ability reguardless of ther situations untill they fire me for being too smart.i love this company and i hope it turns around. i hope that you are lucky to have me work on your care. A caring tech.

I just had two tires replaced due to road hazzard. 13500 miles on 75000 mile tires. they were over half gone and I had to pay for 50% of the tire replacement cost. There should have been no more than 18 to 20% wear on these tires. They were used on a Subaru wagon, the...
