Pep Boys - Review in Service Centers and Repairs category from Hartford, Connecticut
I brought my car honda accord on Friday July 8th. I talked to Dereck (pep boys front desk associate, account is under 301-662-****...I explained that I needed the back two tires replace, because were uneven.
Darrick pepboys associate told me without checking the system, He said that the problem had to be because of the Shocks. I didn't know what was the shocks. And He didn't know that the tires were from him and shocks were done by them too. But after Dareck went to check the computer And he saw that the tires were purchased there and shocks were also done by them, still Derick did replaced the back two tires did balanced and alignment.
Discount for tires was giving, eventhough tires had life warranty, but my BIG ISSUE is that Dareck still changed shocks knowing that shocks were done there and were in good condition, however SHOCKS WERE not the problem. I'm a female don't know about parts and I'm afraid that this is done to another female just because pepboys know that woman don't have any knowledge of car problems, plus my English isn't fluent perfect and I feel that pep boys Associate (Dareck) tooked advantage. I even told him that I needed his help, because I was going ti drive my car 4 hours a way and I wanted to make sure that tires were good to travel. Also when I left the shop the car was making a wear noise coming from the back and Monday went back because if the noise and associate said that all he could help me with was with the noise because it was coming from the SHOCKS...
