I took my truck to Pep Boys to have a Brush Bar and Light installed at 11am on a Saturday. The Store had two lades working the desk one comes to find out was a manager but she walk away as I was giving my information to lady at the register. She said two people had not showed up and she was not sure on how to ring this up. So she called a service manager on the phone and told him what I had and did they do that. He said yes and gave her a code. I told her to make sure he knew about the lights and she told him he said that was the right code. I asked her to make sure the light was on there because the bar was easy to put on I could do it, but the lights were why I brought the truck in. She said she would and if they had any questions they would call. The truck would be ready by 3pm they would call when it was done.

I called back at 3:00pm after shopping with wife to find out that the truck was not ready. At 4pm my wife and I drove buy to see the truck had not been moved. So we went to other stores. I called at 5:30 and was told truck is ready. I came in and find brush bar on truck with no lights.

I walked to the desk and talked with one of the two guys at the deck. The lady manager from the morning was at the desk looking at paperwork. I asked the two guys , why the lights had not been installed and they both said the paper work did not say anything about light. One guy said saw he had seen them with the bar but did not ask. At that time there was two other people waiting both upset wanting to speak to a manager. The Lady was not answering them. I was in the store for 20 min with them waiting and her at the desk. So I did not ask to talk to a manager and left the store. At the time did not know the lady was the manager.

I called back Monday and asked for a manager. I waited about 5 min and a manager answered the phone. She told me she had herd my conversation with the guy Saturday (meaning she was the manager at the desk). She said she would pull the ticket and get back to me and she did. She left me a message that it was entered wrong and would talk to a service manager and get back with me to make sure things were mad right. She never called again. I have called 3 times, twice waiting 15 min after waiting for a manager to answer I had to hang up and then again this Saturday when I waited 20 min after asking for the lady and being told she was there.

If you want good Customer Service and Quality Work do not take your car to Pep Boys.

I even tried to talk to Costumer Service at their main web page itโ€™s a Joke too!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Pep Boys Cons: Terriable customer service, Highly irritaded, So disappointed with this company.

This is how all the pep boys operate! They hire idiots to run the store and dumb *** *** area supervisors who don't know *** either!

They are the biggest rip off people in this country! Nothing good comes from taking your car to them especially to the one on mobile highway in Pensacola Florida! Dumb, dumber run that store! They lie about work that needs to be done!

Then charge you a whole lot for something they DID NOT fix!! Beware stay far away!!!
