I'm a pep boys employee for couple of month , at the beginning everything is fine as time pass the pressure from upper management was intimidating. i got a warning on writing just because i could not meet my quota and other performance i as employee i must do .

Since that store is one of the worst in Miami, upper management expect you to bring up the % in sales and other departments.

Management is horrible and other people that make the outside sale team. Please don't apply at pep boys is one of the worst places to work at

iam a employee now and the problems i have is the management plays favorte tech to bring his hours up and the rest of down one tech makes his hours and the rest drop to 20 or 17 hours aweek the district is doing nothing to fix the problem and the service manager is the main problem in the shop he is giving all the best tickets to this tech the ast. is also with this programi had a ticket that a custsomer requested me for the work and the asst. tried to give the ticket to said tech igot the ticket but this is just some of the things they try to do for this tech iam goingto quit and tring to find is there anything i can do to sop this from happing to any more techs

You know I think you are your own problem you cant take care of customers. If you could you would make plenty of money.

I know as a simple employee for the company I will make over 50k again as I have for the last 3 yrs since the company switched over. you know you talk *** about how bad PEPBOYS is but I bet you you are the proudest customer at the store when you cash your check and buy your .29 cup of noodles. Really try doing your job right and you will succeed I started as an install and went up from there.

So we only get 7.00 an hr and Im going to make over 50k again. So go work for someone that wont hold you accountable you non productive piece of s%*@

Great pay up north 1600.00 every two weeks hey its good. The cost of living up north is pennies compare to south florida .

About the survey "CUSTOMER SERVICE " its easier to serve people up north as for people in south florida.

So before you write get your facts straight "MR OH! PLEASE" i have live up north and its way different than south florida if you can buy a plane ticket with the $1,600.00 you make every 2 wks and give us avisit and visit pep sore in Little Havana

Normally the compainers are the lazy ones I'm up north and the pay is pretty good $1600.00 every two weeks but then again i know how to do my job and oh yeah the survey is to measure how you treat your customers obviously you suck at it so get a job at a warehouse......lol

I am very happy at the company , try to focus on customer service, and a question ? were the floors there when you did your interveiw ?

were you confused when the gave you a copy of your rate of pay upon hiring you . pay rate is always a motive for employees to go to work ,but what about pride in what you do , what about trying to shine , what about you moving ahead with somthing called hard work ?

I worked at a Pep Boys, horrible experience..they make you stand on cement floors all day for $8 plus commission, which oh yeah they can cut in half if their *** surveys decide you're below the company average- not even sure how that is legal. They treat you like you are special ed. The management depend on you working hard so they can cash in at bonus time

I think it's taught to them....I am up north and things are the same!! it's really bad when so many of us are treated poorly! For the most part, it's the hard worker's who are treated the worst!!!!
