I booked an appointment for routine oil service at Pepboys so I don't have to wait long. Did checked-in about 10mins early prior to the give appiintment time just to give the courtesy for them to have time to do the paper work. 2004 Honda Accord 4 cylinder with less than 60,000 miles on it. Needed new battery in the heart of the winter. Went to PepBoys and bought top of line Bosch 3 year replacement battery. Manager attempted to swindle me. I spent $2200. Said I needed a switch after loosening battery cable. He jumped battery so he knew cable was extremely loose. Didn't tighten but sent me on my way disappointed that I didn't fall for his scheme. This is the second time this happened. Pap-Boy installed brand new 4 tires in my 5 yr old Van. After couple months, my car does not stop and spin in little rain and Ice. During wind also my car vibrate a lot. On 03/29/2015 I took my Lexus to the service dept. of PepBoys in Pleasantville, N.J. for an oil change. This was probably one of my worst mistakes for selecting Pep Boys service station for my S.U.V. I took my car in to get new break pads and they quoted me 2 hours, 5 hours later my car is still not done. I have things to do and when they quote you a specific time, the service should be completed within or close to that time frame. Add comment
