Do not honer appointment and did not pick up the phone to call or email me. Appointment was confirmed in the morning . But looking around the the web I see the main company doesn't care or else they would employ better staff. On 03/31/2016 went to PEPBOYS store. In Nashua,NH I had repair brake work performed. Got an offer for a rebate. On 04/01/2016 I submitted the online rebate. System informed me my rebate $amount$ will be $60.00 Now on 04/15/2016 PEPBOYS informs me via email my rebate has been processed for $amount$ of $40.00 What a rip-off say one thing then do and say something else. I have called their main office. They were very unpleasant dealing with. After being a loyal paying customer for nearly 19 yrs. I'm not sure I will ever return. That's how they... Read more

I took my Jeep to Rock Hill SC Pep Boys and told them I had water leaking into passenger side floor. I told them I had looked on the Internet and found it is a common Jeep problem with a/c drain tube the most likely cause. The diagnosis I was charged $35 for was leaking evaporator, thermostat and probably water pump. The estimated repair cost was over $1200. I told them it must be time to trade cars and left. I made an appointment for purchase and installation of two air filters for my 2007 jaguar. Received confirmation on line #754906168. One of the filters was not available and needed to be special ordered although it was on the confirmation. I agreed to have the one that was on hand installed but the "two mechanics " took one look under the hood and looked dumbfounded. "We don't know how to do this ....better take it to a dealer". These people are mentally challenged and I applaud the company for hiring them. Read more

I schedule an appointment on 4/13 for set of tires to be installed on 4/14 @12 pm. First of I chose this location because the website stated that 4 where in stock. Drop my vehicle off at 8 am for my noon appointment, at 2 pm they informed me that all tires weren't in stock. I called customer service and they pretty much just put the blame on the location. MAD AS ***!! THEY WILL NEVER GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO EARN MY BUSINESS EVER!! My on fault, should have did the research and taken heed to the 1000's of complaints. Read more

I bought a used 1999 Honda Accord and while driving in a rush to get home on a stormy night, hydroplaned into a highway median and ended up bending my axel inwards pretty badly. Now I stressed that I bought the car USED and therefore, it was not in perfect condition from the start, but I could get from point A to point B safely everyday. Took my brand new car in to plug a slow leak in a tire, they somehow drove it into the ramp slashing a good tire. 15 minute service and 3 hours later they couldnt get a replacement. They also scratched up the fender the slashed tire was on then claimed it was not them would review the tapes, then would not let us see the tapes. Obviously it did not exonerate them.
