Scheduled an appointment online for noon and when I went in I got told that they service customers on their board first. Then they said that it would be a couple of hours before I could get in and a customer who had an appointment at 10:30 still hadn't been pulled I. Add comment

i went in to get my tire plugged because i thought i had a nail in it when i went up and talked to the manager dave i immideately smelled alcohol coming off his breath and for some reason his hands were shaking so it made me realize. Is this guy drunk? He didnt seem like "drunk" but he was deffinately drinking alcohol, he should save it till he gets home. I think something should be done about... Read more

I wanted to buy 2 tires from Pep Boys in Gainesville, Florida. They quoted an ADDITIONAL 42.50 to mount and balance the tires. Shameless ripoff. This is the second time that a Pep Boys tried to overcharge me for a service. I will never buy anything from those parasites. You can ALWAYS get a better price elsewhere.....and easily. Went for new tires, and said I think it needs new CV boots too. They came back and said I needed new Axles, joints and boots, plus an alignment. I agreed to have service done. Drove my car in to have my water pump repair by these untrained people since the first on they installed two months prior (2K)and after them repairing it the second time they called to say my car was ready. I took my car in for a electrical window problem and came back with a damaged tint. Addressed issue to mgr, waste of my time. He took pictures and told me they have to review video and will call me. My local Pep Boys in Denver on South Broadway mounted and balanced four new tires and did a four-wheel alignment on my BMW. When the car was returned to me, all of the wheels (BMW Motorsport) had been scratched by the lug bolts (not nuts -- bolts) having been removed by an air gun and allowed to spin as the gun removed each bolt. Roughly 6 months ago, I took our 2008 Ford Escape into have the front brake rotors resurfaced and pads replaced. I choose the "lifetime" pads and the work was done within an hour and a half. My wife and i took her 06 expedition in for a tune up which was going to cost $425. We agreed then it needed a coil we were ok with that. Then later the second day when there master mechanic was replacing the spark plugs he broke 3 of them off so now they wanted to charge us for removing the broken pieces.
